You know how there are a thousand apps you can use to make your photo look old and vintage? But you know how they cost like $0.99 to get the in-app purchase to do that? Well our CEO didn't want to pay the 99 cents. He thought that was outrageous. So he dedicated a team and months of development time to making Oliphoto, an app that will do it for free. That CEO was fired by the board for fiscal irresponsibility and now spends his time taking pictures of birdhouses with an old instant camera. But the app is here for you to enjoy.

Choose a photo from your files, Photos app or take a photo to load one up. Then pick a filter, zero or more effects, maybe a frame. Change the export options if you like to make it smaller. Then export a new file or share the result. Use the comparison functions to see how the changes compare to the original. Hold means you have to click/tap and hold the photo to see the original. Split gives you a line to drag and Magnify lets you click and hold to compare a section at 8X.
Privacy note: Your photos are never uploaded anywhere. The work is all done on your computer. So it turns out this may be the most privacy-forward photo filter app around.
